This is a beautiful and peaceful place to be with the Lord. It’s quiet and filled with tranquility. The skyline is gorgeous, and the water is still. There are all kinds of people who go to the park to walk, run or ride bikes. I would say this park came straight from heaven.
As far as urban State Parks go, this one is great! The views are amazing and it is so well taken care of! Great for a run, walk or pedal!
One of the best places to view the Milwaukee skyline. It’s has good parking next to the lighthouse and is the end point of the Hank Aaron bike trail.
Lovely area for viewing Lake Michigan and downtown Milwaukee. Peaceful and clean except for the Porta-Potties: do yourself a favor and use the bathroom facilities elsewhere before heading to Lakeshore Park!
As a park, it’s a 5 - a hidden gem! Harbor is beautiful.
As a transient marina, it’s a 2-3. IMPORTANT FOR BOATERS: there are frequent robbery attempts at these transient slips. No security features (outside of the cops that do their best to patrol). Set up cameras and make friends w other boaters to prevent theft if you head out to eat.
Park near the LakeShore that offers great views of Lake Michigan and Shorelines. Fishing. Summerfest grounds are jumping with people! Love fishing in the lagoon area & jamming out to the local bands rocking out!. Caught a big drum using a meps.
Definitely one of the smaller state parks, but nice for a short walk. Parking was easy to find. It was popular for geese, but where isn't? Nice view of Milwaukee and Lake Michigan
It’s a nice park with good views of downtown Milwaukee and the lake. You can park on the street, just look around for parked cars, I went on a weekday around 3pm and easily parked my car. There’s no fees to park (could be) or enter the park, restroom is only porta potty which was s-hittier than s-hitty. There’s paddle boat rentals as well, at the start. Walk is pretty fun throughout the trail, at the end there’s a lighthouse. Overall if you like peace and wanna chill, definitely go.
